Yours/Ours by Carlos Castro

This project is an exhibition fixture construction for Purdue Galleries. Heather Mello and I were asked to create several pedestal covers and stud walls for the Ringle Gallery to display Carlos Castro's inspiring art.

Request:

  • Two 'stud' walls

    • 8'-0" x 13'-5'​

  • One movable wall cover​

    • 7'-10" x 7'-10"​

  • Four pedestal covers:​​​

    • 1'-8" x 1'-8" x 1'-8" 

    • 1'-4" x 1'-4" x 3'-4" 

    • 1'-4" x 1'-4" x 2'-5⅞" 

  • Designed to look like shipping crates, as if the art was in the process of being unpacked in the gallery​
